I Know im Vegetarian But...

This is my new obsession. My faux fur coat from Yumi, i got it in the sales for £31 down from £62, that's 50% off! Such a bargain and its absolutely gorgeous. Its a lovely pale brown colour which is really wearable and goes with practically everything. I love the vintagness (if thats a word) of this coat, and looks as if it should be worn by a risque dancer over a mini dress, with matt red lips, hmm maybe ill have to try that look next time....

But seriously, i think this will be perfect over little dresses for the party season, for example I'm wearing it over a dress to a new years eve party tomorrow ( don't worry, ill blog pictures on Saturday) but it can also be worn more casually over jeans with a pretty top. I think this is such a wearable item of 'vintage' style clothing, as faux fur is totally in style right now and you can find great pieces on the high street for very reasonable prices. A few of my favourites are:

(Motel -------------French Connection---------Asos---------------Lipsy)

So if your interested, check them out! I'm off to have some dinner now but i should be blogging/vlogging more soon :) Look out for my Outfit Of The Night for New Years Eve which i will either record and put on YouTube or i will take pictures of and put then up here :)

Lots of Love

Viva Glam Cindy :)

For one of my Christmas presents, i got the MAC Viva Glam lip glass and lip stick from the Cindy Lauper range. MAC's Viva Glam cosmetics are 100% for charity! Every cent of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Lipstick and Lip glass is donated to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to support men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS. This means that every time i wear the products I'm going to feel good knowing that people have benefited from the purchase :)

I suppose you would like to see the products then :) The packaging is essentially the same as the usual MAC lip products, except there is Cindy's hot pink signature on the box and on the containers of the products which make them that little bit different. The lipstick has a beautiful high-lustre finish and a light coral-red colour, it looks beautiful on and is perfect for special occasions with the lip glass over the top or just for being daring everyday!

The packaging for both of the products:

The Lipstick:

The lip glass is beautiful too! There is a little more colour pigment in this as it is a slightly stronger red than the lipstick, and it is described as a light coral red, which is definitely right! Its lovely on and is Strong enough to wear alone if you wanted!

These are perfect products for everyone and if you would prefer something subtler, there is the MAC Viva Glam Gaga which Lady Gaga herself designed. It is a lovely baby pink colour. it is available online and instores.

I hope you all had a wonderful christmas and have a happy, safe new year :)

Let It Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow :) :) :)

Hey guys, i finally broke up for the Christmas holidays on Thursday at Lunch time which was fantastic! I do have a lot of revision to do though, as i have mock GCSE's after the holidays but i am determined to relax too! To make everything even better, on Friday, before i went to get my hair cut, it started properly snowing! Me and my friends fell over so many times while walking into town :D

I figured the snow wouldnt last, but apparantly its here to stay, because when i woke up this morning, the snow was intensly thick! It snowed from 3am and has only just stopped at 4pm. Thats amazing! I have a few little pictures of it for you :)

See, the snow is really thick!!!! I have also taken some cute photos of christmassy things around my house which i thought you might like to see :)

Clothes Show Live 2010 Haul :)

Yesterday i went to the Clothes Show Live 2010, and boy was it good! I went with my mum, my auntie and my best friend Poppy to the NEC in Birmingham (got there at 9AM)to shop and see the fashion show. If you have never been there before what the clothes show is, is a HUGE room full of little stands and stalls where you can buy clothes, accessories, makeup, get freebies and then you also see the amazing catwalk show which just blows you away!

I bought quite a lot, as you can see :P

And i thought that some of you would like to see what i got close up, so i have got pictures of everything i got there :)

The first thing was a freebie, there was a huge pantene stall, where they were giving away boxes of a trial sized shampoo and conditioner from their new range of aqua Light (you know the advert with the SWISH) so i cannot wait to try it out, there quite good sized bottles too:

Then i went to Max C which is a brand i have liked for quite a while, and have got quite a few lovely things from, i saw this dress and then Poppy told me to try it on, and i fell in love! It is super cute and comfy and looks great with everything!

Here is a close up picture of the lace and button detail :)

Afterwards we went and had makeovers done at Benefit, (sorry i didn't take a picture, see my video haul to see what it looked like) and i bought the Bad Gal Lash mascara, because i know i love it and when they put it on me, my lashes just popped!

Next i found this little stall selling Orion London dresses for £10! I just had to get one so picked up this little number:

Its so cute, and perfect for new years or Christmas party's! Here is a close up picture of the pattern and sequins!

On the way to see the fashion show, we passed the Yumi Accessories stand and i just had to get some of these adorable ballet pumps! There a lovely cream colour with a really cute zip detail on the front, and they were only £10 too!

And the final thing i got, while waiting for my dad to call to say he was here to pick us up, were these Monkee Genes jeans, there just plain black but their really cute and look great

So as you can see, i had a great time and got some lovely pieces! I really recommend it as its such a fun day out with any of your girl friends :)

Family Party Makeup Tutorial :)

I got a request to do a tutorial for a family gathering, an engagement party in the evening. So this is what i came up with :)

I have done a neutral pink/ brown eye which is perfect for any family occasion as it is subtle enough to be respectable, yet still really pretty :)

To make up for the subtleness of the eyes, i have done a bright lip colour, in my favourite lipstick EVER Barons Rose by MAC. It is simply stunning and i love how it came out!

I hope you like this tutorial and enjoy the makeup look :)

The Best Birthday Ever :D

So as many of you may know, it was my 15th birthday on Friday (29th of October)and i really was not expecting many presents because i got my new laptop (a HP G62 by the way) a few months earlier as a very early birthday present, so when my parents presented me with what i got, i was so surprised! I feel so blessed and happy, but in no way am i trying to brag, i just got quite a few requests to show what i received, so i am :)

The main present i got on my birthday was my black blink lace up biker boots. I'm not sure how much they cost, but they are absolutely gorgeous! They are real leather and so comfy! I wore them out to the club on Friday and out to dinner on Saturday! Here is a picture of them, arnt they gorgeous?!

As well as that, i got a few little extra things, some fantastic colouring pencils for my art GCSE work, a new Marian Keyes book (Sushi For Beginners), some silicone cupcake cases (heart shaped :D) and a BEAUTIFUL freshwater pearl necklace from India. My dad had to go out there for work and he brought them back for me, they look stunning, i want to wear them all the time!

My brother is the sweetest creature on earth! On Thursday, he went to London sightseeing with my dad and his friend. They went to the Tower of London etc but also, they stopped by quickly at Selfridges at the MAC counter, because they knew i wanted some of the MAC Venomous Villains makeup, but it is all sold out online. I didn't know about this, and so i was so surprised when he presented me with 2 items from the collection! A cruella De Ville Lip Glass in Wicked Ways and an Evil Queen eyeshadow in Her Alter Image. They are both beautiful, here are the swatches:

Wicked Ways, it is a beautiful red/fusha colour with a shine to it, it is a frost.

Her Alter Image is a beautiful pale lilac colour, it is a veleux pearl.

After having a lovely lunch and chilling around, my two best friends, Zara and Ellen arrived. They gave me a perfume which i will do a separate blog post about, we went to the under 18s night club, here are some pictures of what i wore :)

We had a great night, and when we got back, it got even better when i discovered that my brother had made me a hello kitty birthday cake :) It was super yummy, but i managed to get a picture before we cut into it :)

So overall, a very good birthday! Thank you so much everyone! I love you all

Two Sides of Alice?

Yes, here we have another Halloween tutorial, i just cant get enough of them! I know that in the past i have made random videos like hauls, and a few fashion videos but i created a YouTube account so that i could make makeup tutorials, because that is what i am really passionate about! I hope you guys don't mind this because since i got my new laptop, i have been able to make some quite high quality tutorials, (or so i think :P)

This tutorial was requested, a tutorial for Alice In Wonderland, but i wasn't sure if the person meant a pretty, light blue Alice, or a more dark, depressed Halloween Alice, so guess what.... i did both! On one side of my face there is a pretty light blush, turquoise eyes and nude shiny lips, and on the other side, there is electric blue and black eyes, pale face and bright red lips. This way, if you wanted a good Alice, you could copy that part of the face and duplicate it on the other side, or vise verse if you wanted bad Alice. Or you could do both, like i have done! Here are some pictures of what it looked like :)

The two coloured lips:

All together now :)

I hope you enjoy this tutorial when it uploads to YouTube.
Thank you for reading!

Oh you Tinker....Belle ;)

I did another halloween tutorial today, i decided to do a more wearable, pretty look, so i chose to do a Tinkerbelle tutorial :) Tinkerbelles signature colour is green so i chose a few different shades of green for my tutorial. I also used some stick on gem-stones to give it a magical feel :)

Here is the finished look

Cherry Nails :)

I was really bored today and i decided to have a go at paint some sort of design on my nails. I wanted to try to paint on a cherry design onto them and i was really surprised how easy it was! Here is a picture of the finished design:

Here is how to do it
You will need:
- a white/pale nail polish for a base ( i used Barry M Nail Paint in 282 french polish)
- a red nail polish for the fruit ( i use Nails Inc Tate)
- a green nail polish for the stork ( i use Barry M nail paint in NPG2)
- a top coat to finish it all off ( i use Lacura Top Coat)
- Some toothpicks

The first thing you need to do is paint all your nails with two coats of a plale/white nail polish for the base.

Next, take the red nailpolish and draw (with the toothpicks) two red dots onto the bottom of your nails

After that, take the green and gently join the two red dots. You can add a flick if you want to :).

To finish it off, apply a top coat.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial
